Two Good Samaritans were beaten and one was knocked out by a group of thugs who were reportedly harassing young women in the Mid-Market Street area Saturday, police said.

A large group of young men, possibly ranging in age from 18 to 25, were reportedly harassing a group of young women near Cyril Magnin and Eddy streets about 2:10 a.m. when two young men, ages 25 and 22, tried to intervene.
