Glide leader to host readings in lieu of MLK march 

The Rev. Cecil Williams, the 80-year-old leader of Glide Memorial Church will not be marching down Market Street on Monday in celebration of Martin Luther King Day, as he has done for two decades. Instead the spiritual leader will be hosting readings, poetry, music this morning starting at 9 a.m. at the church famous for helping The City’s impoverished.
