The Giants will get the 2014 season started in their usual style with their annual FanFest at AT&T Park on Saturday.

Fans are invited to the park to ask questions of their favorite players and coaches before they head to Arizona for spring training, where pitchers and catchers report Feb. 14.

There are plenty of hot topics for the Giants this year, including the addition of three-time All-Star Tim Hudson to the pitching staff and power-hitting Michael Morse to the outfield.

A total of 29 players and coaches are scheduled to appear, including fan-favorites Buster Posey, Sergio Romo and Matt Cain.

Tim Lincecum will also make his return to AT&T Park after an offseason in which many expected the two-time NL Cy Young Award winner to depart as a free agent. The young right-hander returned on a two-year contract worth $35 million.

One player who won’t be in attendance is Pablo Sandoval, who received permission to continue his offseason workout program in Venezuela.

Saturday also marks the first chance for fans to buy single-game tickets for the upcoming season, either online, in person at the ballpark or at team stores all over the Bay Area.

Tickets go on sale online and in person at 8 a.m. Doors open for FanFest at 10 a.m.
