Giants fan Bryan Stow continues to recover at San Francisco General Hospital, and on Saturday the team honored the Santa Cruz paramedic and other victims of preventable violence as part of Strike Out Violence at AT&T Park, according to his family.

The Stows were invited on the field before the game and then sat with former Giants slugger Barry Bonds to watch the action, the family reported on its website. Bonds has been very active in visiting Bryan while helping the Stow family and Bryan’s children, Tyler and Tabitha, by starting a college fund for the pair, the family said.

The family also said Stow has been very exhausted while he fights off infections stemming from his injuries. He was attacked outside Dodger Stadium on Opening Day. Los Angeles police have charged two men in connection with the assault.
