A more than 100-year-old safe and office used by one of modern China's founding fathers, Sun Yat Sen, was broken into during an FBI raid last week as part of a years-long investigation that implicated members of the more than 150-year-old fraternal organization Ghee Kung Tong in San Francisco's Chinatown. Ghee Kung Tong VP Chung San Szto is seen looking through empty drawers inside the broken safe Monday. Members of the Tong have been implicated in the sting, along with state Sen. Leland Yee, D-San Francisco. The meeting room of the Tong is seen with photos of past members lining the walls, an altar with a painting depicting the 300-year history of the organization and boxes of scrolls from as early as 1911 with minutes and notes from past meetings.
