Geary merchants honored at annual event 

The Geary Boulevard Merchants Association will hold its annual awards luncheon Wednesday at the Cathedral Hotel, 1101 Van Ness Avenue at Geary.

Speakers at the event will include Mayor Gavin Newsom, DistrictAttorney Kamala Harris, former Mayor Frank Jordan and Small Business California Founder Scott Hauge.

Honorees will include Paul Kozakiewicz, editor/publisher of the Richmond Review and Sunset Beacon, Steve and Nancy Wong of the The UPS Store, "Uncle" Ben Coleman of Century 21 Fine Homes & Estates, Dr. Martin Brotman, president and CEO of the California Pacific Medical Center and Marie Brooks of Ellis Brooks Auto Center.
