Fund created for injured Gaelic football player

A fund was recently established to help the Gaelic football player Mark McGovern pay for medical expenses he incurred after being injured in June. The off-the-ball incident happened during McGovern’s first match in the U.S., playing for Ulster Club on Treasure Island. Police have named Celts player Patrick Power as a person of interest. Donations can be made at www.support4markmcgovern.com.
