Friendster expands to Japan and Korea 

San Francisco-based Friendster is now available in Japanese and Korean, the company announced Thursday.

The pioneering social networking site is now available in English, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Spanish and Korean, five of the top languages on the Internet representing 66 percent of Internet users, the company said.
