Four in custody for early morning robberies in Mission 

Four men are under arrest for two robberies that occurred in the Mission District early Wednesday morning, according to police.

The San Francisco Police Department arrested 20-year-old Hummad McCullen, of Oakland, 22-year-old Eddie Olmos, of Daly City, 19-year-old Joseph Miles Jr., of Berkeley, and 21-year-old Brandon Long of Los Angeles in connection with the robberies and assaults of two separate victims moments apart.

The first incident occurred around 1:50 a.m. The victim was approached by four suspects in the 1400 block of Stevenson demanding his property, according to police.

The suspects grabbed and punched the victim in the face, robbed him and fled north Stevenson. The victim reportedly immediately called police. The victims wallet, an unknown amount of money, identification and keys were taken.

Moments later, a San Francisco Police cruiser was waved down by a second victim in the 300 block of Valencia saying he was robbed under similar circumstances. The second victim reported his wallet, with an unknown amount of money, identification and cell phone were taken.

Police said they saturated the area. McCullen and Olmos hid behind parked cars on the 100 block of Clinton Park, but were found and detained. Miles and Long were detained on the 100 block of Guerrero Street.

McCullen has been booked on robbery, assault and possession of a stolen weapon. Olmos and Miles are charged with robbery and assault. Long is booked on malicious mischief and drunk driving.
