Forecast calls for more rain

It appears all those January, February and March showers are going to be followed by some April showers.
The rain that greeted this week is not going away.

After a respite Monday night, wet weather will return by midday today and last through Wednesday, accompanied by chilly, mid-50s temperatures and a brisk breeze off the ocean, according to National Weather Service meteorologist Ryan Walbrun. The storm also will bring a high-surf advisory, with waves expected to be at 15 to 17 feet today and until about 3 p.m. Wednesday.

It may dry out a bit Thursday and warm up a tad Friday, but a much larger storm — one that may bring a lot of rain to the Bay Area and snow to the Sierra Nevada — is expected to roll through the Bay Area on Easter Sunday, Walbrun said.
