Foam hand inventor disturbed by Miley Cyrus performance

While everyone was worried about how Robin Thicke and his wife felt about Miley Cyrus molesting him on stage at the VMAs, did anyone stop to think about how that foam finger that she used inappropriately also might have felt?

Inventor of the big goofy hand, Steve Chmelar, told Fox Sports that the pop tart “took an honorable icon that is seen in sporting venues everywhere and degraded it.” Ho boy. “Fortunately,” he continued, “the foam finger has been around long enough and will survive this incident.”

Lest you think it was only sports prop people who got up in arms, consider the Teddy Bear Fund, which TMZ reports also found her performance “offensive.”

Meanwhile, the Oxford English Dictionary has added “twerk” to its definitions, so chew on that, haters.
