Flights canceled at SFO due to weather in Midwest, East Coast 

Nineteen flights were canceled at San Francisco International Airport on Monday morning because of inclement weather in the Midwest and East Coast, airport officials said.

Among the flights canceled were six arrivals from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City, four arrivals from Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey and five arrivals from Chicago O'Hare International Airport, said airport duty manager Brian Horne.

Two flights bound for San Francisco from Logan International Airport in Boston and two flights bound for Boston from SFO were also canceled, Horne said.
