Five dates with a flea market … er … antique show

There are five more days this year to check out a new Antique and Collectibles Faire, not to be confused with a flea market, at Candlestick Park.

Rec and Park listed the dates on their website following the event’s July 18 debut. The next one is on Aug. 15.

The original plan was to run the event every third Sunday of the month,  but now it’s a little different.

It’s run by the same owners of the Alameda Antique and Collectibles Faire, who say that every item they sell is 20 years or older, which apparently separates it from a flea market.

It’s free parking, rain or shine, but no dogs or pets allowed.
