Fire union fighting discipline in Union Square blaze 

It appears that some heads may roll over some mistakes made by firefighters at a Union Square high-rise fire back in October.

Last month, fire Chief Joanne Hayes-White mentioned to the Fire Commission that gaffes such as not putting on the required breathing apparatus appear to be a recurring theme.

But the firefighters union Local 798 is not going to take any disciplinary action sitting down, as you can read in this Web post.
