Finish Valentine’s weekend with chamber music 

Chamber music lovers have a plethora of excellent concert choices this weekend, beginning with a performance by the multiple Grammy-nominated Eroica Trio at

8 p.m. Friday at Cowell Theater, Fort Mason, Buchanan Street and Marina Boulevard, San Francisco. The group is known for its contagious energy and sensual elegance. Tickets are $42; call (415) 345-7575.

On Saturday in Walnut Creek, violinist Alexander Markov, an incendiary virtuoso praised by Jascha Heifetz and Yehudi Menuhin and gold medal winner in the Paganini Violin Competition, performs at the Dean Lesher Center, 1601 Civic Drive. Finally, making his San Francisco recital debut is Tchaikowsky Competition gold medalist Boris Berezovsky.
