Filmmaker Oliver Stone gripes about ‘Jewish-dominated media’ and says Hitler needs ‘context’

Move over Mel Gibson:

Director Oliver Stone belittled the Holocaust during a shocking interview with the Sunday Times today, claiming that America’s focus on the Jewish massacre was a product of the “Jewish domination of the media.”

The director also defended Hitler and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and railed against the “powerful lobby” of Jews in America.

Well, alrighty then. I knew Stone was crazy, but really? It gets worse:

“Hitler was a Frankenstein but there was also a Dr Frankenstein. German industrialists, the Americans and the British. He had a lot of support,” Stone told reporter Camilla Long during the interview, which can be found behind the paywall on the Sunday Times’ website.

Yes, sure Hitler ordered the deaths of over six million people, but I think we know the man really responsible was Henry Ford! It’s bad enough that leftists such as Stone are this delusional, but the logical contortions required to blame the holocaust on America and capitalists is really a thing to behold.

However, something tells me that as long as Stone makes films about bashing George W. Bush and indulging other overtly liberal critiques, his antisemitism will be tolerated in Hollywood.
