Festival of Lights

A look at some of the most spectacularly decorated holiday homes in San Francisco and on the Peninsula

Joe and Ann Marie Perrelli

3232 Jackson St., San Francisco

The Perrellis have lived in their Victorian for 32 years, but only for the past two years have they decided to "make a bigger statement" with their Christmas lights. They put up a lot of artificial garlands and pine cones festooned with white icicle lights, all outlining the porch, columns, roof and driveway. "We had to install a dimmer because the whole thing was just too bright," Ann Marie said. "But we just got the house exterior painted and the new plants aren’t in yet, so it was good have something else to look at."

Don’t miss: The snowy Victorian Christmas effect, complete with stained-glass front door.
