Fee waived for Mission Community Market fundraiser

The Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Tuesday in support of granting a temporary waiver of a street occupancy fee for the Mission Community Market on June 19. The fee waiver helps market organizers’ fundraiser on that day to help raise money to launch the market.  The block party fundraiser will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The market is expected to open this summer on Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bartlett and 22nd streets, and will offer healthy foods.
