Family of Michelle Le boosts reward to $100,000 for clues to her whereabouts

The family of missing nursing student Michelle Le said Monday the reward has increased to $100,000 for information leading to her whereabouts.

On Wednesday, supporters plan to distribute missing person fliers in Hayward, the family said.

The 26-year-old San Mateo woman disappeared May 27. She was last seen leaving Kaiser Hospital in Hayward during a break from an evening shift that she’d worked as part of her training. She was wearing white hospital scrubs.

Police have classified the case as a homicide. Throughout the search, the family has not lost hope that she will be found alive.
