Esquire kinda sorta apologizes for 9/11 mistake

scoop3.jpg not only made a tremendously offensive boo-boo in its commemoration of 9/11, the magazine’s lame apology is creating even more ire. The site featured a photo of one of a businessman falling to his death after the Twin Towers were struck, but it was mistakenly run under the Style section with the header, “Making Your Morning Commute More Stylish: Look good on your way to work.”

“Relax, everybody,” the magazine later tweeted. “There was a stupid technical glitch on our “Falling Man” story and it was fixed asap. We’re sorry for the confusion.”

Are you also sorry that you now sound like even bigger jerks?
