EPA misses the mark on chemical regulation 

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has reportedly decided there is no need to regulate a chemical used in rocket fuel that has contaminated water supplies around the country — despite some evidence that it can cause thyroid and developmental problems, especially for babies and fetuses. The draft decision has yet to be released, but was obtained by The Associated Press.
