BART's Embarcadero station is closed because of civil disturbance, transit officials said.

The station is near the site of  the Occupy SF camp at Justin Herman Plaza where protesters are rallying in the face of possible eviction by San Francisco police.

Trains are running through the Embarcadero station and no major delays have been reported.

BART's 12th Street station in Oakland is open tonight, despite a brief skirmish between police and protesters near a station entrance.
