Elizabeth Warren met with Vanity Fair reporter hours after skipping out of Congressional hearing

Back in May, I reported from a House Oversight Hearing, where Elizabeth Warren, President Obama's choice to head the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, left early, citing a scheduling conflict.

Now, her schedule from that day has emerged, and it shows that just hours after leaving the hearing, she gave a 45 minute interview to a Vanity Fair reporter. In her defense, she did have meetings with Treasury Department officials after the hearing and before the interview with the magazine, so she didn't literally leave one to go to the other.

Video of the exchange from the May hearing below.
