You already know if you’ve been checking out our election calendar, but today is primary day in Alabama, Mississippi, and New Mexico. The seriously contested races of the night:

Whom will Republicans nominate for governor in Alabama (will probably go to runoff on July 13) and New Mexico (probably Susana Martinez)?

Will Alabama Democrats nominate Rep. Artur Davis for governor?

Can party-switching Rep. Parker Griffith, R-Ala., avoid a runoff against another Republican?
