Early morning shooting leaves one dead in the Mission 

A man was shot dead in the Mission district early Friday morning, San Francisco police said.

The shooting was reported in the area of 23rd and Harrison streets around 1:50 a.m.

A 26-year-old man, who has yet to be identified, was declared dead at the scene with a gunshot wound to his back. He had been arguing with a group of four men when one of them fired between four and five shots at him, police said.

The suspects, described as four young Hispanic males, fled in a green late-model Subaru Outback northbound at Harrison Street.

There have been no arrests, police said.
