A San Francisco man was arrested for allegedly stabbing another man in the nose with a fork and biting him during a brawl about the noise level on a Muni bus, police said.
Cops responded to the zany bus altercation at the intersection of Columbus Avenue and Bay Street around 2:30 a.m.
Both men were drunk, police said. The victim, a 45-year-old man, told the suspect, 46, to be quiet after he started “screaming and yelling” on the bus, Officer Albie Esparza said.
The suspect didn’t like being silenced, and a fight ensued in which the suspect stuck the victim in the nose with a fork, Esparza said. While wrestling trying to disarm the suspect, the victim was bitten in the arm, the police spokesman said.
