Driver on PCP hits two pedestrians in San Francisco

Ingleside District officers arrested a driver Friday after he allegedly hit two pedestrians and admitted he had taken PCP before getting behind the wheel, San Francisco police said.

Officers arriving at the scene of the crash in the 400 block of Geneva Avenue at 2:20 p.m. noticed the driver “could not sit still and appeared agitated and nervous.”

The officers called an ambulance for the suspect, who allegedly admitted taking the drug just before driving, according to police.

Police did not describe the condition of the two pedestrians. They said the driver was booked for driving under the influence.
