Driver in Muni death to bedrug tested 

San Francisco police are investigating The City’s second fatal Muni-related pedestrian death of the year after a 73-year-old woman was struck while crossing Market Street on Saturday.

The San Francisco Medical Examiner’s Office on Sunday identified Yu Wen Liu as the woman who was fatally struck by a Muni bus. She was hit by a 71-Haight-Noriega bus that was traveling eastbound on Market Street at about 8:25 a.m. in the crosswalk at the intersection of Market and Sixth streets. The bus driver who hit Liu will undergo drug testing and be placed on administrative leave, according to a statement from the San Francisco Municipal Transit Authority.
