Driver fails to hear oncoming train over loud music

A man in Missoula, Mont., was so entranced by his loud music that he didn’t notice a freight train coming toward him before it struck his car behind the driver’s door. The car was badly damaged, but the driver was not injured. Police say alcohol or drugs were not involved. However, the music-loving motorist, who is in his 30s, will likely be ticketed for failing to stop at a railroad signal.
