Dredging ready at Oyster Point berthing area

Dredging will begin Tuesday at Oyster Point’s East Basin berthing area.

The work will continue for 60 days and be limited to 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. every day. The project will begin on the fairway between docks 13 and 14 and work its way to dock 11. Vessels will be relocated as each dock is worked on. Phone and cable service will not be available during relocation.

Vessels may be transporting the final load of dredging material after 7 p.m.

In August, there will be a post-dredging survey of the area and cleanup.

Residents with questions about the dredging work can call Harbormaster Robert G. Johnson or Assistant Harbormaster Charles White at (650) 952-0808.
