Dog, collisions on highways cause traffic delays Tuesday

An injured medium-sized dog was reported running on southbound I-280 just north of the Serramonte Boulevard offramp at 8:01 a.m. Tuesday, and minutes later was captured by a man. A traffic collision with unknown injuries occurred at the same location.

Commuters heading north into The City may experience residual delays from a no injury collision that occurred on northbound I-280 just south of the John Daly Boulevard onramp at 7:32 a.m.

Due to a train with a mechanical issue at 7:52 a.m., inbound Muni light-rail service was delayed at Van Ness station. The 2-Clement, 9-San Bruno, 22-Fillmore, 28-19th Avenue, 29-Sunset, 43-Masonic and 71-Haight/Noriega lines experienced longer than normal wait times at 6:19 a.m.
