Disney Cruise line to stop in San Francisco

San Francisco’s cruise business may be a little slower recently than it has been, but fortunately a mouse with big ears is coming from Southern California to save the day.

The Disney Cruise line announced Wednesday that they will be sailing four seven-night cruises out of Los Angeles with stops in San Francisco this fall.

The 964-foot Disney Wonder will sail out of Los Angeles four weeks in a row in September and October, calling on San Francisco, San Diego and Ensenada, Mexico. Each trip will carry 2,400 passengers, whom San Francisco’s business leaders hope will disperse their hard earned money through San Francisco’s tourist sectors.

The cruises start at $770 per person and will be debarking from Los Angeles on Sept. 16, Sept. 23, Sept. 30 and Oct. 7.
