Dim Bulb: Problems plague American Airlines
American Airlines is under closer Federal Aviation Administration scrutiny after a series of problems during landings in the past month. The wingtips of jets touched the ground during two landings Dec. 13 and 24, and another plane overshot a runway in Jamaica on Dec. 22. The FAA is investigating to determine if there is a larger problem with the airline.
