Dick Cheney doesn't want Paul Ryan to run for President

“I worship the ground the Paul Ryan walks on,” Dick Cheney said yesterday at an energy event in Houston, “I hope he doesn’t run for president because that would ruin a good man who has a lot of work to do.”

Cheney's remarks seem to reflect his sense of humour, but they conflict with a lot of important conservative voices calling for Ryan to run.

Jonah Goldberg's 'Run Ryan Run' column was widely read  yesterday, and Charles Krauthammer echoed a similar sentiment.
