The woman scolded by embattled Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling on tape for publicly associating with black people was once arrested for DUI — with a black celebrity in the passenger seat.

TMZ Sports reported Monday that V. Stiviano was arrested in 2012 for drunken driving in Los Angeles. Her passenger was Brandon Mychal Smith, who starred in Disney’s “Sonny with a Chance.”

Stiviano was driving a red Ferrari Sterling gave her, which happens to be the subject of a lawsuit filed by his wife, Rochelle, in which she accuses Stiviano of engaging in “conduct designed to target, befriend, seduce, and then entice, cajole, borrow from, cheat, and/or receive as gifts transfers of wealth from wealthy older men.”

It’s likely the public will hear more about Sterling’s former mistress in upcoming days. Known by aliases including Vanessa Maria Perez, Monica Gallegos and Maria Valdez, she calls herself an artist, writer, chef, poet, stylist and philanthropist on Instagram.
