Deadline looms to pick your favorite teachers, principals 

The deadline to nominate teachers and principals of the year are coming to a close.

On Friday, the Mayor’s Office of Education will review all nominations submitted and recipients will be announced in May.

According to the Mayor’s office, the award has been given out the teachers and administrators who demonstrate “dedication, professionalism, and work on behalf of our city’s young people.”

The honor is meant to recognize public school teachers and administrators for their outstanding work.

Nominations are due to the Mayor’s office by Friday, March 25. Applications to send in your nominations can be found here Applications for principals can be found here.
