Even TV didn’t want to have much to do with the Daytime Emmy Awards, which took place Sunday in Los Angeles, streaming online for the first time – but not broadcast on the airwaves. Us Weekly’s roundup of the event says various sources called it a "disaster" and "trainwreck.”

According to reports, the ceremony was full of profanities, and many winners didn’t show up to accept their awards. Apparently, off-the-cuff interviews and comments during a red-carpet pre-show were distasteful, coming from so-called reporters who seemed unfamiliar with the daytime shows being honored.

Host Kathy Griffin apparently provided some flash by yelling at a producer for “The Young and the Restless” who won for outstanding drama series to “wrap up” her speech. Bloggers also report that Sharon Osbourne talked about oral sex and “General Hospital” star Kelly Monaco offered to flash the audience.

The big winners were Steve Harvey, Ellen DeGeneres and Bobby Flay.
