The Bay Area's annual college football bowl game will be held Dec. 30 at 7 p.m., organizers announced Monday.

After previously being held at AT&T Park, the game is moving to the 49ers' new Levi's Stadium for the first time in 2014.

The game, previously known as both the Fight Hunger Bowl and the Emerald Bowl, does not have a new name yet. It will pit teams from the Pac-12 Conference and Big Ten Conference against one another as part of a new six-year agreement between the parties.

Commissioners come to town: Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott and Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany will be in San Francisco this week for a joint appearance to speak to the public. Scott and Delany will talk about their respective conference's recent agreement to have teams meet in the Bay Area's bowl game and other college issues.

The event will be held at The Commonwealth Club at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Tickets are $25 for non-Commonwealth Club members, $15 for members and $7 for students. Tickets can be purchased at or by calling (415) 597-6705.
