Daly City council to vote on filling bicycle lane gap

The Daly City City Council will vote on whether to accept a grant of $25,500 to connect an existing gap in bicycle lanes. The grant comes from the Bay Area Air Quality Management District and will be paired with the city’s $26,500 fund for the Southgate Avenue Bike Lane Gap Closure project. A nearly mile-long stretch of Southgate — from Westmoor Avenue to St. Francis Boulevard — is without a marked bike lane.
