Daily Outrage: FBI’s biggest dirty-cop investigation busts 89 

WHAT: The FBI secretly flew in more than 750 extra agents to sweep across Puerto Rico and arrest 129 of 133 indicted suspects for drug-trafficking charges — 89 arrested were police officers.

HOW: Following 125 stings carried out by undercover FBI agents, the cops were accused of providing security for drug transactions, in exchange for payments from $500 to $4,500 per deal.

WHO: FBI Executive Assistant Director Shawn Henry emphasized that the Puerto Rican police department partnered in the investigation and only "a very small percentage" of cops acted crooked.
