Crooks rob downtown San Francisco clothing store at gunpoint

San Francisco police are hunting three thugs following a midday gunpoint robbery at a downtown store Monday.

The gun-toting robbers forced two women into a closet before fleeing the business in the 200 block of Grant Street with clothing and cash around 3 p.m., police said.

One of the victims, a 32-year-old woman, got into a fight with one of the suspects, a 25-year-old woman, police said. The victim suffered “minor markings on the neck,” they said. There were no other injuries.

The other suspects were described as males, one in his 30s and the other about 40.

There has been no arrest. Police have not named the business that was robbed.
