Crissy Field Center reopens its doors

The grand reopening of the new green facility, will take place Saturday. The 7,200-square-foot center was constructed to reduce its environmental impact by using a solar power generator and limited raw materials. The new building boasts energy-efficient lighting systems, a 2,500-gallon rainwater catchment and old-growth redwood salvaged from the historic Cal Park Hill Railway Tunnel.
