Cops seek public’s help in catching killers

San Francisco police are asking for the public’s help in solving two homicides.

The department is trying to identify a suspect in the November 2008 murder of Brandon Lee Evans in Golden Gate Park, police said.

Evans was attending a party at the horseshoe pit near Conservatory drive, cops said. When Evans went to get something from his car, he was shot. He managed to make his way back to the party where he collapsed, police said.

Police are also trying to determine who shot and killed Travis Del Rio in the 400 block of 23rd Avenue on Dec. 1, 2010.

Anyone with information regarding either of these two homicides is encouraged to call the department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444, the homicide detail at (415) 553-1145 or text a tip to TIP411.
