Cops saddled with cowboy crook

Cops aren’t about to horse around with this car burglar.

Police are hunting an apparently crooked cowboy who broke into a car in the Richmond district and stole horse riding equipment worth $400.

The car was parked in the 100 block of Spruce Street. The theft occurred between the hours of 10 p.m. Wednesday and 10:30 a.m. Thursday, cops said.

Along with the horse riding equipment, the thief stole one boot, police said.
