Concerts planned for S.F. theaters

Carole Shorenstein Hays, of SHN which presents the "Best of Broadway" series in the Curran, the Golden Gate and the Orpheum theaters in San Francisco, has signed an agreement to add concert programs in those venues.

The partner organization is Pacific Arts Presents, headed by former Clear Channel CEO Irv Zuckerman and Steve Litman, executive producer of concert events at St. Louis’ Fox Theater. "Our mutual goal is to bring the world’s greatest concert entertainment to the greatest theaters in San Francisco," said Zuckerman at the announcement of the agreement.

His relatively new organization has created the current Blue Man Group "How to Be A Megastar 2.1" world tour. Litman has produced hundreds of events over the years, including Bill Cosby’s appearances at the Herbst Theatre.

The announcement speaks of "all musical genres," but no specific programs have yet beenannounced.
