Colleagues not sad to see Piers Morgan go

His own co-workers are glad he’s getting the boot. Staffers at “Piers Morgan Live” are relieved that CNN canceled the show, according to the New York Daily News.

“He was always such an a------ to people working for him,” one insider says of Piers Morgan, who took over from Larry King three years ago.

The bombastic Brit’s last show is likely to be this week, but no specific date has been set. Apparently low ratings and Morgan’s bad attitude killed it.

“The makeup girls suffered the worst — he was rude and belligerent,” says the source. “The general feeling is Morgan didn’t show any respect to anyone working under him — the people who were trying to make him look good.”

Morgan, easily beaten in ratings by Fox News’ “The Kelly File” and MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow Show,” tweeted, “Coming third is not a trophy.”


Timothy Lambesis, lead singer of Grammy-nominated metal band As I Lay Dying, pleaded guilty to trying to hire someone to kill his estranged wife.
