Perched on the precipice above the historical relics of Sutro Baths, Cliff House proprietors Dan and Mary Hountalas were joined by a group of dignitaries and U.S. park rangers to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the landmark on Wednesday, July 17th.

Emcee Joel Riddell of Talk 910- radio introduced Emperor Norton, an historical impersonator and tour guide, and his cohort "Rafflemeister" Bob Lawhon. The pair rededicated the plaque of the Ship Parallel with Anchor Steam beer, dubbing it “local healing water.”

Afterward, the hosts invited the public to view a temporary exhibit of historical memorabilia located on the bottom floor of the Cliff House.
