City’s IT projects to undergo scrutiny

The City’s ongoing IT projects are going to come under a microscope Monday by the Board of Supervisors City Operations and Neighborhood Services Committee. The committee is holding a hearing “on the status of large IT projects, including: JUSTIS, eMerge, and systems related to permits and purchasing and to also include explanations for any project delays or anticipated delays.”

These projects have had their share of problems. As The City faces a budget deficit in excess of $500 million, IT spending is coming under tough scrutiny.

The committee meets Monday, at 10:30 a.m., at City Hall, in room 250.
