City services under scrutiny

Supervisor Carmen Chu has requested a hearing on the new kind of reports coming out of the City Controller’s Office. The Controller has started issuing bi-monthly, so-called Government Barometer reports, meant to “share key performance information with the public in order to increase transparency, create dialog, and build the public's confidence regarding the City's management of public business,” according to the Controller’s Office.

Chu will hold a hearing on the reports and their findings during an upcoming Neighborhood Services and City Operations Committee.
