City seeks citizen input on Market Street revitalization

Improving Market Street is no longer just listening to Mayor Gavin Newsom’s speeches on revitalization efforts in the area. Now, residents can be a part of the process.

San Francisco is forming a 15-member citizen advisory committee for the Better Market Street Project, an aggressive effort to revamp Market Street into a place where people want to walk, shop and visit.

The City and the Chamber of Commerce are asking residents to apply for the committee by Tuesday, Sept. 7.
